Barb Rogers, owner of consulting firm, B. Rogers and Associates, LLC, is a registered notary public and certified loan signing agent within the State of Michigan, with a commission based in Oakland, County.
Rogers is also registered with the State of Michigan as a remote online notary (RON) and can perform U.S.-based RON for persons located globally who have proper ID and who can pass KBA.

Mobile Notarization: $10.00 Per Item Notarized + Travel Fee.
Mobile Witness: $25.00 Fee within Bloomfield/Birmingham Michigan area.

$10.00 Per Item Notarized/Stamped + $15 One-Time Technology Use Fee/Session
Special Note Regarding Remote Online Notarization: There is a great deal of document prep and session setup required prior to RON sessions. If you have 10+ items for notarization, or if you require online notarization in an ongoing manner, please contact us to discuss rates.
RON Signer Responsibilities: It is the signer's responsibility to know what they are signing. It is the signer's responsibility to cross-check that each document requiring notarization can be done so digitally/online. Some notarizations require a wet stamp/in-person session. This is the responsibility of the signer to know this in advance of the notarization session, not the responsibility of the notary public.

BR&A NOTARIZATION POLICIES (PLEASE READ!)
Booking Policy: When booking an appointment with us, we may require a partial booking fee via credit or debit card. If fees are collected at booking, those fees will be applied to your overall cost due to us at the start of your notarization session. After-hours and last-minute appointments are based on availability. All sessions will require immediate full pre-payment of the session before an act of notarization can begin. For real estate transactions requiring loan signing agent services, payment terms will be discussed.
Cancellation Policy: Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you may be subject to a fee of $35. To avoid a cancellation fee, please kindly provide cancellation notice at least 24 hours prior to your appointment via our scheduling portal. You may also call us at (248) 566-6195.
Rescheduling Policy: Sessions needing to be rescheduled which are within 4 hours of the most recent set appointment time may incur a $35 fee.
Refund Policy: Refunds will not be provided for any reason for notarization sessions that have started or fully taken place. This includes (for RON) if the signer does not pass the knowledge-based authentication process once a remote online notarization session has started. KBA authentication is a requirement for remote online notarization, and technology fees are accrued by the notary, regardless of the outcome of the authentication process.
